Is there anything that heralds in the start of Autumn quite as well as when Great British Bake Off is back on the TV? If this year’s batch of hopefuls has got you inspired to make your own delicious baked treats then it may be time to get your kitchen Bake Off ready. Our appliance specialists have been busy taking notes during their Bake Off watching and have found some of the appliances from the Bake Off tent.
Neff Slide and Hide Oven
This has been a staple of the Bake Off tent for years, the door neatly tucks away into the bottom of the oven so it’s not in the way as you get your showstopper out of the oven. The Neff ovens also come with some added features which help get that perfect bake like CircoTherm technology which circulates air evenly for a perfect bake no matter where in the oven your tray or cake tin sits. The Pyrolytic cleaning function also makes it easy to get rid of any mess left over from those technical challenges.
Neff Warming Drawer
For that perfect rise a warming drawer gives the most consistent environment for a great prove. Although in the bake off tent this is set to one side, the warming drawer is the same width as a standard built in oven and looks great set underneath your oven. Temperatures can be set from 40°c up to 80°c so you can use it not only for proving your dough but for warming plates or slow cooking.
Montpellier Retro Fridge Freezer
This one took a little bit of investigation from our appliance experts. Although in the bake off tent it appears that the fridges have been wrapped in a blue vinyl to match models in the previous series; due to the distinctive handles, we are fairly confident that these are in fact Montpellier Retro Fridge Freezers. These stylish fridge freezers come in three colours, cream, black and red with a 312 litre capacity.

Quooker Boiling Water Tap
A newer addition to the bake off tent in the latest few series are the Quooker boiling water taps. These handy kitchen taps offer instant boiling water, helping to shave off time on that technical challenge. They can also be installed with instant filtered and sparkling water for a 3 in 1 kitchen helper.

Neff Domino Flex Induction Hob
Its no surprise that in the Bake Off tent where all space is needed and time is of the essence that induction would be the hob of choice. Induction hobs offer quick and exact control of heat and cool down quickly as the pan heats up through magnetic conduction rather than the hob itself getting hot, so you can use them as part of the worktop space when not in use. This compact induction hob would be perfect for a small kitchen or a camper van.
